Item (1): First public hearing on next year’s bond referendum in the May 1st election. A total of $409 million worth of projects have been proposed. We will need to pick and choose and prioritize to strike the appropriate balance between fiscal responsibility and maintaining our aging city. The proposed projects consist of 58% streets, 31% parks & recreation, 6% facilities, and 5% public safety. See my article on bonds here.

Item (2): Public hearing on the drainage rate increase scheduled to start January 1, 2021
