Collin County Showed Up BIG
Here was my statement yesterday regarding Tuesday’s monumental election:
I asked you to step up and you delivered! Collin County had the highest voter turnout out of the 24 largest counties in Texas, with 68.65 percent of registered voters! Thank you, God, and thank you Collin County!
Moreover, that additional turnout was largely Republican turnout, as almost all of our Republican candidates won by larger margins this year than two years ago, and President Trump gained significantly over 2020. We also turned out enough votes to flip the multi-county 5th Court of Appeals!
Collin County is one of the fastest-growing counties in the entire country, and as our CCGOP Victory Campaign illustrated over the last five months we can get larger and redder at the same time!
We developed and executed a multi-point marketing and outreach campaign for this election to drive increased turnout and encourage people to vote Republican all the way down the ballot, and it worked marvelously. Our sign campaign even garnered national attention!
I additionally want to recognize and credit Steve Kinard, the Republican candidate for Texas House District 70, for running a tremendous race. While it didn’t ultimately result in unseating the Democrat incumbent in that district, he built valuable presence and recognition there, in the bluest area in Collin County.
Last but not least, I want to thank everyone who poured so much of themselves into this election. Our Election Judges, Clerks, and other workers managed everything smoothly and efficiently, and our Poll Watchers were well-received. Everyone on the front lines of getting out the vote, from block walking and poll greeting, to the unsung heroes behind the scenes making sure everything was running smoothly made this election such a tremendous success. Thank you all!
Now, believe it or not, we have even more to do after the election than before it. So many of the things I ran on and planned for the Collin County GOP were put on hold until after this election. Well now we’re here, and it’s time to get down to serious business. Want to be part of it? Join the CCGOP as a Charter Member and help us build a Red Juggernaut!
Buckle up and stay tuned!
