Collin County is one of the fastest-growing counties in the U.S. What we have here is worth fighting to preserve.

Where I Stand

Doing it The Right Way

Collin County is the 2nd fastest-growing county in the U.S. I’m running for Collin County Commissioner to ensure that change happens the right way.

My Mission & Vision

My Views On The Issues

Collin County is one of the fastest-growing counties in America, and that change can happen the right way or the wrong way. I’m running to manage that growth responsibly—keeping taxes low, backing our first responders, and building the roads, water, and infrastructure our families need. Here’s where I stand.

1. Managing Growth & Keeping Taxes Low
  • Held the line on taxes with a proven record of fiscal discipline as a Plano City Council member
  • Manage rapid growth the right way—protecting neighborhoods and quality of life
  • Champion smart, long-range planning instead of unchecked, haphazard development
2. Public Safety & Backing Our First Responders
  • Fully fund and stand behind our sheriff’s office and first responders
  • Support the men and women who keep Collin County families safe
  • Put public safety first as our county continues to grow
3. Roads, Water & Infrastructure That Keep Pace
  • Lead on transportation and DART reform to deliver real value for taxpayers
  • Invest in roads, water, and energy infrastructure that keep pace with growth
  • Plan ahead so our infrastructure serves families for decades to come
4. Transparent, Accountable Government
  • Increase government transparency and make county spending easy to follow
  • Promote citizen engagement and keep residents involved in decisions
  • Bring accountability and conservative, common-sense stewardship to the Commissioners Court

My Only Agenda Is You And What Matters To You And Your Family

Collin County is one of the fastest-growing counties in America, and that change can happen the right way or the wrong way. I’m running to see it done the right way, using the knowledge, experience, and relationships I’ve gained over six years on Plano City Council, as Collin County Republican Party Chairman, and in a career helping Fortune 1000 companies solve their toughest challenges.

I’m running for Collin County Commissioner, Precinct 4. This is an open seat, as the current Commissioner, Duncan Webb, is not seeking re-election. The Republican primary is in March 2026, with the general election in November 2026.

On Plano City Council, I successfully championed the No-New-Revenue tax rate four years in a row, keeping city property taxes flat—the first time in 24 years. I focus on your actual tax burden, not just the rate, because a lower rate can still mean you pay more. As Commissioner, I’ll bring that same discipline to the county budget.

We have the chance to make Collin County one of the most resilient, thriving places in the country. With major investments like Texas Instruments’ new fabs driving growth between Dallas and Sherman, I’ll work with cities, residents, businesses, and developers to guide smart, measured growth that looks to the region’s long-term vitality—not just the next few years.

The #1 job of government is to secure our rights, and public safety is central to that. I’m proud to have earned the endorsements of both the Plano and Dallas Police Associations. On Plano City Council, I voted to overfund the police during the ‘Defund the Police’ movement and to authorize our new Fire Training Center, and I’ll make sure our Sheriff, Deputies, Constables, and fire services countywide have what they need.

Our children deserve our protection, and it’s our responsibility as parents and a community to keep them safe from predators, trafficking, drugs, pornography, and sexualized indoctrination. On Plano City Council I fought to protect kids from being trafficked and sexualized, and I’ll continue that fight as Commissioner.

Water and energy are two of the biggest issues nobody is talking about, and we aren’t building infrastructure fast enough to keep up with our growth. I’ll work with local, state, and federal partners on more reservoirs like Bois d’Arc Lake, while championing solutions such as desalination, Direct Potable Reuse, conservation, and reducing municipal water leaks by using more durable materials better suited to our shifting soil.

I’ve led the fight to reform DART for the past six years, and I’ll continue working to ensure North Texas’s transportation needs are met effectively and responsibly. As our county grows, I’ll push for practical improvements that reduce congestion and respect taxpayers.

Citizen participation in local government is alarmingly low, partly because it’s hard for busy families to follow what’s happening—especially with budgets and taxes. I’ll work to keep everything out in the open, strictly limit closed meetings to what the Texas Open Meetings Act allows, and make the budget process as transparent and understandable as possible.

I’ve served six years on Plano City Council and as Collin County Republican Party Chairman, and my career as a consultant has involved helping Fortune 1000 companies solve their toughest challenges. On council, I fulfilled all of my campaign promises within about a year of my first term—promises made, promises kept.

The Commissioners Court sets the county budget and provides oversight of county government, much like a city council does for a city. That’s why fiscal responsibility, transparency, and strong working relationships matter so much—and why I write regular Commissioners Court previews so residents can follow what’s being decided on their behalf.

The support from across Collin County has been overwhelming, and there are many ways to help—volunteering, spreading the word, or joining our newsletter to stay up to date on the campaign, Commissioners Court, and the issues facing our community. Sign up below to get involved.
