When and Where to Vote

Vote anywhere in the county

You can vote at any Collin County vote center

Collin County uses Vote Centers. Every registered Collin County voter can vote at any designated vote center, both during early voting and on Election Day. You do not have to go to a polling place near your home.

Early voting

Early voting hours

The same hours apply at every early voting location.

Locations

Vote center locations

The county’s current list has 42 early voting locations and 90 Election Day vote centers. Tap an address for directions. The county’s interactive map also shows current wait times.

What to bring

Bring an acceptable photo ID

Texas voters must show one of these seven forms of photo ID at the polls:

• Texas Driver License (issued by DPS)
• Texas Election Identification Certificate (issued by DPS)
• Texas Personal Identification Card (issued by DPS)
• Texas Handgun License (issued by DPS)
• U.S. Military Identification Card with your photo
• U.S. Citizenship Certificate with your photo
• U.S. Passport (book or card)

Except for the citizenship certificate, the ID must be current. Voters aged 18–69 may use an ID that expired no more than 4 years ago, and voters 70 and older may use one that expired any length of time ago. The address on your ID does not have to match your voter registration.

Don’t have one and can’t reasonably get one? You can still vote. Sign a Reasonable Impediment Declaration at the polls and show a copy or original of one supporting document: your voter registration certificate or another government document showing your name and an address, a current utility bill, a bank statement, a government check, a paycheck, or a certified birth certificate.

• If you can’t read or write, you may bring an assistant of your choice (anyone except your employer or union representative). Election workers can also help on request.
