Texas produces a lot of football talent, but not a lot of top hockey talent. That recently changed, when Plano native Blake Coleman won the Stanley Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning. To commemorate this tremendous achievement, and for representing Plano on the international stage (the announcers said, “Blake Coleman, from Plano, Texas” repeatedly throughout the series), Monday, November 2, 2020 will be Blake Coleman Day in Plano, and a special event will be livestreamed at 4:00 PM CST.
