We have a double feature again this week, with Monday’s council meeting and a Budget Work Session on Thursday at 5:00. Download the Work Session agenda here.

  • Item (1): the 2024 O&M Annual Service Plan Update for the Downtown Plano Public Improvement District (PID). A PID involves an extra property tax levy on properties within the PID, and this item includes how that money will be spent
  • Item (2): Public Hearing on the FY 2024-25 Recommended Budget and Community Investment Program (CIP)
  • Item (3): Resolution to accept the Certified Appraisal Rolls for Fiscal Year 2024-25 for Collin County and Denton County
  • Item (4): Discussion and Direction regarding Proposed Ad Valorem Tax Rate (there are no supporting documents for this discussion; it will be based on the prior agenda items)
  • Item (5): Discussion of the Proposed FY 2024-25 Community Investment Program

 

Notable Consent Agenda Items

  • Item (f): $1,077,199 for installation of 146 CCTV Cameras, cabling, and mounting hardware on existing traffic equipment
  • Item (g): $6,581,735 to replace ~14,200 linear feet of water lines and related appurtenances (that’s fancy-speak for other parts), as well as replacement of deteriorated pavement and sidewalks along the following streets: Anatole Court, Atrium Drive, Indigo Drive, Inverness Lane, Irvine Drive, Lattice Court, Promontory Point, Serene Place, Solarium Place, Tennis Place, Trellis Lane, Trilogy Drive, and Woodburn Corners in the River Bend Estates neighborhood
  • Item (h): a $106,708 DECREASE to the 10th Street Paving and Water Line Reconstruction project. It’s not all spend, spend, spend!
  • Item (j): $6,168,145 for an economic development agreement with Raising Cane’s
