Congratulations to Plano‘s homegrown Stanley Cup Champion, Blake Coleman, who won the Cup during the last council meeting, with just a little help from his team, the Tampa Bay Lightning, against the Dallas Stars (bittersweet). He’s the first native Texan to win the Cup, and on Monday, November 2, there will be a special proclamation in Plano for Blake.
Council chambers aren’t yet open to the public, but Monday’s meeting will be livestreamed on both PlanoTV.org and on the City of Plano Facebook page.

- Economic Development Discussion: we don’t know what it’s about until Executive Session, but the word on the street is that NASDAQ is looking for a new home for its trading systems, and North Texas is a candidate.
