We’re back in council chambers at City Hall! We’ll also have a public hearing on the proposed $700 million bond referendum next year.

You can sign up online to speak at council meetings in person or via Zoom online at this link up to 15 minutes before the scheduled meeting, which is typically at the 7:00 Regular Meeting. You may alternatively share your thoughts by emailing the council members any time at our email addresses here, or by 4:00 PM the day of the meeting at councilcomments@plano.gov.   • Item (1): Specific Use Permit (SUP) for an electrical substation for ONCOR southeast of Jupiter Road and Plano Parkway
  • Item (2): Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between the City of Plano, the City of McKinney, the City of Frisco, and the Collin County Sheriff’s Office for the disbursement of the 2024 Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant funds
  • Item (3): Review of the Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report describing the use of federal funds from HUD (Department of Housing and Urban Development)
  • Item (4): Second Public Hearing on the proposed General Obligation Bond Referendum scheduled May 3, 2025. Currently, more than $700 million in bonds is proposed

 

Notable Consent Agenda Items

Total of $11,798,205 of your money in proposed expenses

  • Item (b): $3,034,650 to repair 25,000 square yards of residential concrete street and alley, 12,000 square feet of sidewalk, and 55 barrier-free ramps between Shiloh Road and Jupiter Road to the east and west, and 18th street and Rigsbee Road to the north and south
  • Item (c): $3,289,400 to repair 29,000 square yards of residential concrete street and alley, 18,000 square feet of sidewalk, and 56 barrier-free ramps between Decator Drive and Ohio Drive to the east and west, and Tulane Drive and Park Blvd to the north and south
  • Item (h): shift existing approved work to a different vendor for implementation of Clariti Cloud software for Development Services, awarding $2,545,519 to Clariti Cloud, which is a $996,165 reduction from the previous vendor, Unisys
  • Item (i): reduce contract for sidewalk repair by $498,812
  • Item (k): $5,873,000 for an economic development agreement with Delta Electronics, consisting of fee reimbursement and job creation grants
