  • Item (1): Specific Use Permit (SUP) for Commercial Antenna Support Structure on the northeast side of Democracy Drive Partnership Road
  • Item (2): Remove Split Zoning by rezoning 7.1 acres at the southwest corner of Independence Parkway and Lotus Drive from Planned Development-381-Retail/General Office to Light Industrial-1, and rezoning 8.1 acres on President George Bush Turnpike, west of Independence Parkway, from Agricultural to Light Industrial-1
  • Item (3): Amend zoning for the Legends at Chase Oaks apartment complex on the northwest side of Legacy Drive and Chase Oaks Boulevard to increase from 346 to 416 units and increase allowable height from 2 stories to 3 stories

 

Notable Consent Agenda Items

Total of $17,420,109 (holy moly!) of your money in proposed expenses

  • Item (a): $6,543,296 for that smooooth asphalt overlay y’all been riding around on while listening to your smooooth jazz. This overlay will be on Hedgcoxe Road between Preston Road and Custer Road, on Parker Road between Parkwood Boulevard and Preston Road, and on Midway Road between Park Boulevard and Spring Creek Parkway. This also allows for the repair of 1,500 square yards of arterial concrete
  • Item (d): $4,890,893 to replace 6,255 linear feet of screening wall along Park Boulevard, Parker Road, Independence Parkway, 14th Street and 15th Street
  • Item (f): $4,738,000 for the acquisition of real property at 701 E 15th Street
  • Item (m): accept $1,503,174.27 from the Next Generation 9-1-1 Service Fund from the Texas Commission on State Emergency Communications
  • Item (n): approve Rules Governing Public Comments in the City’s Public Meetings
