  • Item (1):  adopt the 2022-2023 Action Plan, including the summary of Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnerships Program activities and proposed use of funds for program year 2022-2023. This is required to receive HUD funds.

  • Item (b): $798,585 to connect Cottonwood Creek Trail & Oak Point Park Trail, including an underpass on Los Rios Boulevard
  • Item (e): $1,876,519 for 3,570 linear feet of paving and water line reconstruction on Cabana Lane, Fontaine Street, Hallmark Drive, and Sailmaker Lane
  • Item (f): $2,362,497 for bridge repairs throughout the city
  • Item (g): $4,782,963  for Collin Creek Wastewater Improvements, including installation of 42-inch diameter fiberglass sanitary sewer pipes and associated manholes, and by-pass pumping plans and operations
  • Item (i): $1,260,802 for a Horizontal Grinder to grind yard debris received at the Custer Transfer Station before being transported to the Compost Operations site in Melissa to further process the material into mulch, compost and soil blends that are sold as Texas Pure Products. This is NOT–I repeat, NOT–for use as depicted in Fargo
  • Item (o): $458,600 for the collection of traffic volume counts at numerous intersections throughout the city for use in traffic studies, coordinated timing plans, signal performance metrics, traffic modeling/simulation, long-range planning, and economic analysis
  • Item (p): $544,093 for analysis and design of converting and upgrading Plano’s traffic wireless communications system to fiber optic communications
  • Item (q): $899,940 for management, design-review, and construction support services for multiple traffic technology projects
  • Item (v): appoint Judge Kristine Primrose as Associate Judge of Plano Municipal Court
  • Item (y): amend city ordinances to prohibit smoking in public parks and update the authorized age to purchase tobacco to comply with state law
  • Item (z): modify city ordinances to revise the mowing perimeter for agricultural properties from 150 feet to 30 feet
